Rusk-Panola Transmission Project

The Rusk to Panola Transmission Line Project is a double circuit 345-kilovolt (kV) transmission line sponsored by Garland Power & Light and Rusk Interconnection LLC, and is being built as part of a plan to interconnect the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and southeastern United States. This transmission line will connect a new switching station in Rusk County to a switching station in Panola County near the Texas/Louisiana state line.
